How to Draw with Organic Forms

Learn to Draw with More Depth and Dimension

If you can draw a box, you can draw anything. Unlock the power of construction to bring depth and energy to every sketch!

Welcome Back Students!

In this course you will learn how to draw organic forms by working through some basic exercises to develop your skills. Organic forms allow us to draw so many things in life and getting better at moving these forms around on the page takes some practice.

These lessons will help you to have better control with your hand eye coordination. They will also help you to create illustrations with more depth and dimension. Try to draw along and even create some of your own versions of these forms in the first 3 lessons.

This course is broken down into 3 practice activities and 1 Project file.

    • ✅ Drawing Basic Forms
    • ✅ Bending and Twisting the Forms
    • ✅ Drawing Organic Forms
    • ✅ Project File - Drawing and Rendering a Flower

I have included some practice worksheets for you to study and follow along with. They are attached to the Project section.

I hope you find these lessons to be informative and let me know if you have any questions along the way! Thank you for considering my course content and good luck with your art!

I will add new lessons to this course based upon your feedback or requests. So let me know what else you want to see added in the future please.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Marzullo

Robert Marzullo

Hello, my name is Robert A. Marzullo. I have been a working professional artist for 25 years. I have been published in comics, created 3D animation and characters for television, illustrated storyboards for commercials, and owned and operated my own sign and design business successfully for over 15 years.

I am also the author of the book "Learn to Draw Action Heroes"
by Penguin Random House and the creator/illustrator of Blackstone Eternal. An independent comic book.

I am currently a professional freelance illustrator and comic artist where I create digital art for my clients. I create sequential art and character concepts as well as occasional logo designs.

I now share my knowledge in digital art and computer software through online courses and have a growing Youtube channel as well. With over 250,000 Youtube subscribers and quickly growing I felt I should create some more in depth content for students wanting to take their skills to the next level.

My goal is to help aspiring artists realize their potential and break their mental barriers that hold them back from creating the artwork of their dreams. We can all do it with the right instruction and work ethic. That is what I am here to teach my students.

I am very dedicated to my students and responsive to any of your questions so please don't hesitate to ask. I am here to help!
